I have offers from all of the above and I am currently on a gap year. I would love to experience London life, and have worked out how costings would work - I would be able to live comfortably in the city with the bursary I am entitled to receive. I'm not too interested in a 'student experience' per se.

However, I am worried about how friendly London students are; from other friends that currently attend London Universities. They seem a bit uptight/incredibly rich. There is also the issue of a huge international population, and whilst I would absolutely love to make friends with international students, I've heard from many people that they tend to only make friends with others from the same country/area. I guess I'd probably do the same in a different country (would make you feel less homesick I suppose), but it scares me that I wouldn't find a group there.

Conversely, I've found that my friends in Bristol have had great times thus far and I do love the city. I'd also like to settle down there one day, but I'm also not sure if I'd like to work within London.
My current goals are to either become a solicitor, or take the path of company secretary/law within business. I'm not sure whether I'd like to work in London/The City, or if I'd rather settle down somewhere smaller, like Bristol. In honesty, I'd probably rather find a life after Uni in somewhere like Bristol.

Which University is best? I'd obviously like to go to the one with the best career prospects, which I'm assuming is UCL, but I'm terrified about not making friends..
