So i got into a school that has a reputation for good results for A levels (A*-B: 89%). The students there tend to go to the top unis in UK which i also am aiming for. My current school is slightly lower at 67%. Obviously it is an opportunity, but i am really worried i might not settle in when i go and i heard the two years in sixth form go very quickly. I also have an emotional attachment to my current school as i have been here since i was 11. Has anyone been in my situation or can give me advice?

Talk to parents and teachers. Go to open day for the other place. Weigh up pros and cons.

Its about 18 months. 89% sounds very high.
You can either back yourself in your known environment or go for the increased chance in the new one.
You may or may not make friends, but its the exams that matter imo.
You must have had your reasons for applying and if you need top grades then weigh everything up, but your chances look a lot better in the new place.

Have to back yourself either way.
