when using perfect tense remember the auxiliary verb haben and sein. remember to use the correct past participle and most verbs in perfect tense have ge before the past participle eg gespielt and gegangen. perfect tense usually sends the verb (the main one not the auxiliary) to the end of the sentence. I think the only way to know the past participle is by memorising it. just read through the speech out loud to memorise it, it should help with both remembering it and with pronounciation.
