I want to be good at maths and English how do I become good at these subjects

probably the last thing you want to hear, but definitely practice; past papers and mark schemes are key, particularly with maths. your English teacher could give you some pointers on improving your technique as you could be missing marks for simple things like not stating the obvious and elaborating on your points, little variety in punctuation or not using sophisticated enough language, hope this helps
