Should I mention politics on my CV?
Hi,
I'm applying for an internship at an investment bank. I was wondering if I should mention my experience within my university political association (Conservative), having held a variety of positions. Do you think this is wise? Could I mention the experience without the party, or do you not think it matters?

If it is relevant information to the role you are applying for, then add it. I think adding the party itself is pointless though, just explain what you did there and it should be fine.
