Hi! I’m applying too and I’m terrified bc my Bachelor’s degree was in a different field. Plus does anyone know how competitive this course is? I’m just really nervous because I want this to work so badly—I just wish how much experience we’re expected to have before going into it. If anyone has words of wisdom, including OP please please share 🙏🏽🙏🏽

It appears you've been made the OP so it may help to add context

Sorry, not used to using forums lol. I’m going to apply for Edinburgh Napier’s MSc Publishing program. I’ve taken a creative writing course when getting my Bachelor’s, did marketing/design internships and jobs, was published with a local writers guild, but that’s kind of it. It’s not traditional experience and I really need to get into this program, so I’m really worried it’s not enough. My GPA w my BA is above their min reqs so I guess that’s something. Do you have any experience w this uni or their postgrad courses? P.S. Sorry for the novel! :/

It's not hugely different and you have some wider experience. I know someone who has a Drama undergraduate degree who is currently studying International Relations at Master's level.
