    hi.I was wondering what the best way to prepare for GCSE history and geography was.I am going to start my course this September so I am going to be taking the new GCSE courses but I am not sure on how to prepare myself for my GCSEs. would there be any tips or advice anyone could give me for the best methods to use to revise for the two?thanks

    For GCSE Geography I would definitely recommend trying to remember key facts & figures from case studies as this always helps in the exams. Also maybe familiarise yourself with the exam structure.
    i can speak for history because I don't do it, my other humanity is RS.

    Id just say to really make notes as you go along. Make little case study cards and flash cards on key bits. Brake it up to small chunks to help you memorize then do practice questions to apply your knowledge and test yourself

    One fantastic thing about Geography is that you don't have to remember every fact and figure, ie you can make some things up. For example, if you talk about an earthquake you can say 'there were 3000 injured' and still get a mark, because the examiner doesn't have time to check everything.
