Hi, so recently I have been wondering how people come out to everyone at school. I'm not talking about with sexualities, I'm talking about with genders. How do you come out to your classmates/year group as transgender? I have a closeted trans friend and want to know how to help them in this aspect. Could anyone give any advice on coming out or some anecdotes of how they did it?
    Thank you!

I came out as bi to my friends and Mum in year 10 2 years ago. I know it’s not the same but I found texting my friends an easy way to hide if I wasn’t certain what they’d say. I wrote a letter for my mum as I’ve never been good at speaking to her. She didn’t react they way I’d hoped but not everyone can accept you and if they don’t then you learn that they’re not your sort of people, as I’ve learnt about my mum
