Hi there,I'm currently a year 11 and I'm worried that I'll be doing the foundation tier for maths i got a grade 4 in the recent mock. I just feel that I am capable of getting above a grade 5. I'm aiming for grade 7s and 8s in other subjects but maths is just letting me down. I am going to be upset when seeing a grade 5 for maths on results day it really let me down and shatter my dreams of going Cambridge university!

I am revising higher topics at home as at school we only do foundation topics i have learnt some grade 9 topics and I can comprehend and apply the knowledge.

I have a mock at the end of February which I will hopefully get a grade 5 then I'm going to go to the head and ask whether I can do the higher tier.

Do you think I am capable of getting above a 5 in higher tier of i got a 4 in foundation? Do you think I'll be allowed to do the higher tier? ?

    Please be honest thanks guys!

just try and do well in the exam, tbh if u wanna do higher then u can just say u want to and theyll prob let u do it
