so i'm on a night out and a friend of a friend asks me to make sure my fiend is ok. i do this and at the end of the night the girl who asked me to take care of her friend is trying to attack another guy. i have held her back to make sure she doesn't get done for assault, the police then arrive to keep calm and the girl i was holding back is taken to A and E because she is hyperventilating. I just want to know if she is ok, i left her in the care of police officers, did i do the right thing?

Well, if they took her to A and E then there will be doctors with her at least. Can you call her mobile?

As we have no explanation as to what caused her outburst it is hard to know what to say here. Hopefully the police got an accurate story of what happened and hopefully you friend is just getting medical help.

Not sure the police would have let you escort her to A and E anyway.
