    Hi all
Please advise. i was foolish. Gave my Barclays card to my friend who promised to give me £200 if he can use the card to transfer some monies.. That was it. Few weeks gone. No card. No money.my friend in same secondary school assured me it is ok. The bank letter came suggesting 60£ overdraft. Mum saw the letter and called the bank..account closed for fraud with CIFAS marker.. Mum reported to the police. Completed the fraud stuff on line..she was Given a reference number and I thought my friend will be punished but nothing happened to him.. Mum is mad. I just turn 17 ..will I ever get a bank account..I am so afraid this can ruin things for me in future..

Didnt you post this last week, except you missed out all the details?

You and your friend were supposedly going to the bank?

CIFAS markers are very difficult to move and tbh you have been irresponsible. They go after six years. Check with the police whether they are investigating. It takes a long time. How much was lost? the bank will have a record of when and where the money was taken.

Also sounds like you agreed to partake in some money laundering.
It will prove costly to you as only a few expensive accounts will be available now. I would report it to the school as well.
