I need to know the percentage error of my digital thermometer as the percentage error changes as the temperature increases???

    1 dp digital thermometer

    0.1 degrees
    98.7 degrees
    99.5 degrees

it is a hanna digital thermometer which is highly accurate but need to work out percentage error for a task.

    I did: 0.1/0.1 x 100% = 1%

    99.5 / 0.1 x 100 = 0.1%

are they allowed to be different??? have I calculated it right?

Dont u have to use differentials to calculate %age error ? x + dx?
