My A level Literature teacher always used to say to not focus on the structure. Instead, make the essay flow - have one argument supported or countered by the following paragraph, or develop that theme in the next one.

The paragraphs can be as long as you need them to be - my romanticism exam answer was 3 large paragraphs - with each arguing about for and against a different element of both poems (a Wordsworth and Stanzas written in Dejection near Naples). You'll probably get higher marks for having an overall conclusion for both the paragraphs and the essay question itself - and it's good to not have a straightforward conclusion as well!
