Hi, I’m currently half way through year 12. And I’m finding it really tough, it’s not that I don’t have the time to do the work as there are so many frees and it’s not like I’m not smart enough, having got having got all A’s apart from one subject in GCSE. the trouble that I’m having right now is I don’t really see the point of trying in a level, the way I see it In maybe 10 years time I will be working a 9-5 job that I hate. whether I try in school or not the only thing that’ll change Is I’d get a higher salary maybe. I just wondered how you people motivated yourselves, if any of you think lik I do, or just have some advice for me. Thanks, Niall

I wouldn’t think about the future like that because it’s unlikely you will have the same job throughout your entire life. You will probably have multiple different jobs or even promotions.
About the a levels, are you currently doing subjects you somewhat like? Obviously you can’t like an entire subject completely, but do you like it sometimes? If not I would suggest trying to get through year and do some subject you enjoy.Last edited by Noodlestudent; 07-02-2018 at 16:57. Reason: TDA Post Edit
