I am on track (for now) for a 2:1 degree, and am applying for grad schemes with a 2:1 predicted grade. I was wondering what happens if I pass all the stages and am offered the position, however then graduate with a 2;2?

What are the chances that they would still give me the position?

Has anyone been in this position before?

    Thanks!

Whilst it's ultimately not the most helpful answer, I suspect the reality here is that it will depend on the company as to whether they would still give you the position. Some may have more stringent requirements than others and could retract the offer, whilst others may be able to give some leeway, particularly if you've impressed them considerably in the application process. I'm not certain on this though, I'm afraid, it could be that few places will still extend the offer.

It depends on the employer. Some job offers might be conditional upon achieving a certain grade whereas others won't.

Depends what’s written in your employment contract. If it states you have to obtain a 2.1 and you don’t, the offer could be recinded on the basis of that condition. But that is often discretionary.
