I have recently graduated with a 2:1 in Early Childhood Studies, however education is not the path i am wanting to take. I know that i would like to become a midwife, however i am unsure about what the best route is to take!

Please can i have some help!

First of all, congratulations on graduating! Knowing what to do next can be very stressful, especially when you don't know how to get to the place you want to be. Have you contacted the careers service at your university? Usually, students who have recently graduated still get to use the university's facilities in regards to careers and employability to help them know about the choices open to them and what can be done. There should be careers advisers who specialise in your degree area and the career routes available to them and also know what the certain qualifications are needed for other roles even if you don't have the necessary qualifications. Basically, the careers advisers are a starting point to find out exactly what you want to do and how to do it by building on your current skill set (it's very likely you will have to gain a different set of qualifications).

Hope that helps and good luck!
