More proof that the perfidious group known as momentum are up to no good.
This is a rather damning example of how British political life is being subverted by a group of morally corrupt demagogues.

"Let's get something straight" declared Moimetyn activist Emine Ibrahim last year. "there is no hidden dramatic plot to take over the Labour party by Jon Lansmann, Christine Shawcroft, myself or other members of momentums new national coordinating group"

The words ring hollow today with labour activist sheila peacock - just the type the old labour party used to celebrate: 86y/o, 60 years a labour member and 26 years a Councillor - who has been caught in the struggle for control of Haringey council in London.
Much to momentums displeasure, peacock saw off its attempt to remove her as labour candidate in one of the poorest seats in the borough, what could the left do? Ibrahim came up with the wheeze f accusing a frail lady in her eighties of bullying.
Ibrahim raised a formal complaint about a remark peacock made on FB to the effect that Ibrahims constituents would probably be delighted she was moving to another ward. The momentum dominated party bureaucracy was suitably shocked. It accepted Ibrahims complaint and, without giving peacock a right of reply, refused to endorse her as a labour candidate.
Peacock offered an apology which Ibrahim refused to accept, even though Peacock was in hospital suffering from stress and a weakened immune system.
Last weekend at the holocaust memorial in haringey, speakers paid tribute to peacock who is jewish and has helped organise the event for years. A Rabbi said from the podium "we want you to know, sheila, that we all support you". Momentum Councillors were present, including the thin skinned Ibrahim. They looked suitably ashamed, and ibrahim told peacock she would withdraw her complaint. If she does, she will have proved a senior momentum activist can click her fingers and have a political opponent removed on the basis of a confected complaint. Then [after adverse local publicity] click her fingers again and make the complaint vanish - all while maintaining that it is ludicrous that momentum are taking over the labour party

Sounds like anti-Semitism is being a useful ally for Momentum on this one. There's also a lack of respect for elders on show here.

The Eye are right to raise stories like this, but that doesn't detract from the fact that the new housing plan in Haringey, with it's PFI structure and privatisation agenda is not exactly the kind of thing we want now. The devil is in the detail, but when you read into what the Blairite councillors on Haringey were planning, the key parts are a secret, which doesn't bode well for the alleged commitments to affordable housing in it.

It's easy for Momentum to mobilise anger against London housing policies, which are terrible. However, even if Momentum are playing dirty and using the tactics of militancy, that doesn't mean their political agenda is wrong - merely (from what I've seen) somewhat incoherent, like Corbyn's 'policies' on a national level.

With all due respect but its groundless comments like this that mean the term 'antisemitism' has no other connotation than being a catch all insult. This has absolutely nothing to do with her being Jewish.

Old Jezbollah Corbyn and his merry band of militant Momentum thugs continue to show us that they are :

    - unfit to govern

    - unelectable

At the last election there were instances of Looney Labour thugs threatening Conservative MPs, and their families, spitting at them, throwing bricks through office window, damaging property and so on.

All these Marxist reprobates are doing is destroying the actual Labour party from within, in fact just usurping the banner "Labour Party" because they couldn't be arsed to form their own proper party and because the "Ultra Left Wing Marxist Party" probably wouldn't garner much public support.

It doesn't matter a jot whether people like the Conservatives or not, the fact is that the Marxist Corbyn and his ridiculous bunch of Loonies are totally unfit to govern this country. Therefore one can only vote for the Tories or one of the other parties until the real Labour party is restored.

The Tories are already ahead in the polls despite the mess with BrExit that is on-going. This serves to highlight that decent UK citizens understand that there is absolutely no place in British politics for Marxist militant thugs.

A quick look at Ermine Ibrahim's Twitter feed shows that she's no stranger to the politics of Palestine. Not saying that is proof of anti-semitism, but looking at the harsh and unpleasantly nasty ways she has behaved towards this ageing Jewish woman and long running Labour councillor, it isn't difficult to see what's been going on.

Unfortunately, Momentum appears to be a cover for some people with really quite unpleasant motives.

That still doesnt make this sordid little affair anything about so called anti-semitism.
Not to mention being sympathetic to Palestinians is hardly anti Jewish.
