    Ignoring the fact that this is a virtue signalling statement, it has a pro-Ireland bias. As with Nige, the Northern Irish taxpayer should not be forced to have their children taught a non-English language.

    If nationalists wish to teach their children the Irish language then they should pay to do so.

    Nay solely because of this. If people want to learn Irish, they are free to, but I see no reason to encourage it when there are far, far more important things to learn.
