The only time moderators are required to be objective is when it comes to the act of moderation. I was extremely active in the Religion forum advocating for atheism for years before I started my stint as a mod there, and you'll find the overwhelming majority of D&CA mods were active in their respective areas prior to being modded too.

Imagine the outrage if any media outlet mocked a female politician for her hairstyle.

Or black, or pretty much any Democrat for that matter. Clinton? Off limits. Obama? Off limits. Schumer? Probably off limits. Probably also for one reason or another also outrageous to mock Al Green for being a broken record that has said nothing but "impeach" for 15 months

All fair points *if* Mr Trump was also respectful of others...

I'm not sure if this is meant to be an argument to not mock Trump or you're saying there should be more mocking of both genders?

I think we should be mocking politicians as much as possible and if a newspaper put out a story mocking Theresa May's hair and clothes then that's fine by me.

Republicans went ape **** because Obama wore a tan suit to work once, so don't get all high and mighty that a politician's appearance doesn't matter, or only matters to one side.

I think they're crap points personally. What the media does/doesn't do shouldn't mean that we should stop mocking the clown.

I actually think we should be more respectful of politicians.

But regardless, my point was simply that similar treatment towards a female politician would not be acceptable. There would be mass outrage if a female politician was judged on her hairstyle as often as Trump is.

Media are always commenting on Theresa Mays legs
