I’m 18 and I’ve never had a boyfriend but everyone around my age had had at least 1 serious relationship or is in a serious relationship. I know I’m young but I feel left out and unwanted. Every guy I’ve dated has just wanted to sleep with me and has never taken me seriously. I see girls who have sex on the first date get boyfriends(not that I am shaming any girls who do but usually guys look down on girls who do) and girls who don’t even try or the most meanest girls. There’s also girls who are always in a new relationship!! It’s not fair why does everyone want them? What am I doing wrong? I’m outgoing, funny and I don’t sleep around. I have goals and I’m career driven and have my own hobbies
Being 18 and having no boyfriend is okay at the right time and right place you would eventually find someone. Meanwhile on the positive side you can focus on education or a career!

I'm an 18 year old guy and I'm the exact same. Never had a girlfriend or anything, although I haven't been on any dates either. I'm too scared to go after girls I like for fear of rejection and embarrassment, and no girls have ever made the first move with me so I've never gone anywhere. I hope once I get to uni that can change and being a surrounded by 1000's of new people will boost my self confidence. But you're not alone by any means, in modern day Britain and pretty much anywhere else as well, the reach of social media and seeming importance of public image have put so much pressure on dating that it's no where near simple like it use to be when my parents or grandparents were growing up. Back then people actually talked to each other on the bus or the plane etc... No smartphones or earphones or social media or internet back then, the good old days.

You're a very young person and many people are single at 18.

You could try meeting men through online dating, speed dating, joining clubs out of interest, through your hobbies, through meet up's, through education/work, through your network and by going out.

Relax, have fun, enjoy life. Focus on your ambitions and hobbies.

    Good luck
