I have received an offer of AAA for my favourite uni. However, I find this rather high and would much prefer an offer of AAB. I was just wondering if anyone knew if a university can change their offer between now and firming it. I am a good football player so would getting in touch with a coach help? would they be able to lower it if they were really interested in me?

I am just really concerned about not meeting my grades and can't imagine going to any other uni.

(would emailing the uni work at all? or would it hinder me rather than helping me as it could show me in a bad light)

They could change it but they've no reason to do so really.

it won't be changed, however if you miss your offer by a grade many unis will accept you anyway, so if you are passionate about this uni I would work hard to achieve your offer and if not that is still a possibility

many unis do still accept some students who miss their offer by a grade or so, though you shouldn't rely on that and work as hard as possible to achieve your offer

That's not true. I study maths at Cambridge and a friend of mine who also studies maths at my college received a high offer then emailed and got it reduced. There's no harm in asking.
