How do I overcome the fear of doing plays or presentations without being prepared? It's not exactly stage fright, but it gives me a lot of trouble.

Practice to get rid of nerves. I know that sounds contradictory, but I mean practice on unseen subjects and keep ding it till you care less, improve and it becomes more natural. Bit like improvising and ad libbing.

Everyone else is the same so its just a case of going for it. It will get better when you realise the sky doesnt fall in.

Maybe something like this or something simpler.
The point is its a skill than can be learnt
