How to get invited to his house ?

I’ve been dating this guy for just over a month. I haven’t been to his house yet and he hasn’t been to mine. He keeps bringing up me going to his house (like we have this joke about his house being big and he always says “when you come to my house ....”) but he never actually invites me. I feel like I should have gone to his by now. How do I get invited without sounding desperate ?

When he says the “when you come to my house....” say “how about we make that ‘when’ a reality?” that should prompt him to make plans!
You invite him to yours first to make him feel obliged to invite you back
