Basically my aunt and my cousin get offended very easily. I don't really like them because they think that they are better than me , my aunt is uneducated and my cousin graduated after 10 years with very low gpa, even though his university is ranked below average. I get to the point. We live next door and I see them everyday. My aunt gets offended very easily. We had a conversation 3 days ago about a family matter. She got offended because I told her to speak directly to me and not my parents and she called my parents that night and said that I was rude etc. You understand what happened next. My parents called me the next moment(I live above my parents apartment) and said that I was rude to her and she is very sad .I felt horrible, I was furious and my day was ****ed..
What would you do if you were in my position. ? No good morning

Be careful, interact less and remind your parents that she can be very sensitive. Your post seems to indicate you do look down on them though.

Like the first post said, ignore them as much as possible and be cautious when you do speak with them. Better to think twice and say the right non-offensive words than deal with the aftermatch that comes with offending them.
