You could use school food to supplement what you already eat though - for example getting some fruit, veg or salad to go with it. When I was at school we could also always get a jacket potato and beans, they had those whatever else was on the menu.

Yes but it isn't about my school.
I want cheap new options of food.
Since I want to change it up next time (my menu)
I think I'd be sick of eggs and beans by the end of the first day.

The only meal I eat with that level of enthusiasm (usually 4-5 days a week) is this fantastic vegetarian minestrone recipe. Super cheap, easy to make, very healthy and you get six portions from a single pot. I sometimes take it to uni in a thermos. :smile:
