Hi! I got my braces off in June - be prepared for slimy-feeling teeth (and potential gum bleeds when you brush teeth but its chill dw) - and feeling strange when you look in the mirror! My teeth felt so much smaller lol
I got my retainer a week later. They do impressions for it while you're there.
I can't remember much about it hurting, but when they clip the little things off (im so vague v sorry) it can hurt a bit, and my gums did bleed, but its nothing to worry about.
Dont worry about teeth moving around -while you wait for retainers - they don't
Just be sure to brush gently
    And enjoy your new smileeee

Depends on the place, whether it is a dental hospital or dentist etc. I got mine off at a dental hospital so they were quick at making the retainers. I got mind on the same day

Nothing much will happen. You will experience a bit of pain whilst they are taking off your braces.

You may experience some pain afterwards although in my case, the pain was very full and easily managable.

About your retainers, they would need to make a mould of your lower and upper jaw so that your retainers fit you perfectly. Your should be able to recieve your retainters shortly after the mould was made.
