Do Oxford university mind gcse resist watch

    • Thread Starter

I would like to know if there is a chance getting into oxford university when resisting gcse in the same year i took

Yes, you can still get in. No, they don't mind a resit! From what I know of the system, Oxford are looking for the smartest kids out there, in terms of raw intelligence. They understand that for one reason or another you may mess up an exam. They want the cleverest people, and so for them it's stupid if they turn away a smart person just because they've had a slip up in the past.. As long as you're clever, a GCSE resit should have no bearing (have friends who got in with GCSE resits..)
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
