I'll be graduating this year with (hopefully) a first in Biological Sciences. I'm not at the best university, but I have won an award for getting the highest in my year so I am doing well there. I also have a-levels in Biology (A), Chemistry (B) and Physics (B).

I really, really, really want to work within the healthcare field. I have been spending a lot of time visiting a relative in hospital recently and it has solidified the fact that I really want to be a part of it.

The thing is, despite me getting good exam results, I have no relevant work experience. The only work experience I have is working around children. Whilst most of my course-mates were doing lab-based summer placements, I didn't as I knew for certain that I did not want to work in a lab.

I am wondering what my realistic options are for someone with good grades but no experience. I don't have my heart set on one particular role, obviously medicine would be incredible to study but I don't think it's an option for me anymore. My biggest concern are fees as I am not in the position to fund myself and my parents are not in the position to help me (I'm from a low-income family so have had a lot of support at undergrad with bursaries).

Just wondering if you were in my shoes, what would you be looking into?
