I have been allocated the role of the researcher in my first (and only) moot assignment.

It is a fictional judicial review scenario and I have zero idea of where to start in terms of cases, law, principles. I'm not one for asking for help. but I really need it.

    Thanks

Start with looking at your textbook and notes to id the issues and relevant law.

Look to id what the issues in the moot might be about and the arguments for both sides.

Its then a case of doing more in depth research to find the right principles and precedents, which will be in your textbook , any articles and the law library. Ask your law librarian.
