to keep it brief i've made a new friend this year and we've had loads of interesting conversations and i thought of them as my best friend since we've been doing lots of things together and were close.
recently theyve been getting really arrogant and hypocritical, they put real emphasis on phrases like 'youre dumb' when i make a grammar mistake or something and it makes me feel like sh*t because its something tiny that i cant call them out for.
often they seem disinterested when i talk about me but love talking about themselves. i dont know if its because ive spent lots of time with them that ive started over thinking how annoying they are, we're together almost everyday for most of the day.
also i feel like its me because this almost exact thing happened with another friend two years back. am i in the wrong? should we stay friends?

True friends don't make their friends feel "Sh t".
You have found someone that you spend time with. You haven't found yourself a friend.

perhaps try to figure out why they are acting this way towards you? if the same thing happened before in the past there must be something that triggers it. could be u or cld be them. But if really they are just acting up with a hurtful intention, minimize contact. withdraw a bit and see how. Maybe there were some misunderstandings?🤔
