Hi I've recently just graduated from the University of Manchester with a 2.1 in History. What are chances of me getting into SOAS to do a masters in International Relations and Diplomacy?

It really depends if you can demonstrate competence in that area. I applied to do a master's in music which required at least a 2:1 in my BA, however, I had a 2:2 in my BA and that was in Philosophy! They still accepted me unconditionally because I had a long-term background in music which I could draw from in my application and this was backed up in my references.

I would not bother posting here, but write to the relevant dept in SOAS and tell them your background and ask what you can do in your application to show you are right for the degree.

Thank you for your response, I got an unconditional offer two days after I submitted my application!
