I don’t know what to do anymore. My mum likes to buy clothes and random things for herself but never uses it. She keeps them all in bags and piles them up against the walls everywhere. As a result things get mouldy and dusty and bugs like to fester in them. She then complains about the house so I spend my time cleaning it only for her to yell at me for moving her stuff. I bin things like empty boxes and empty ready meal trays. She doesn’t understand that the reason the house is bad is because of her hoarding so she keeps pestering for my dad to buy a new house (even though we can’t afford it) or to do it up. She keeps collecting random things she finds on the road and won’t let me bin them as well. I don’t have anywhere to keep my clothes because she fills up “my” wardrobe and drawers with her junk. I don’t have my own bed and I sleep on the floor or share a bed with my siblings. At school I’m seen as “middle class” as everyone at my school is so I feel like I have to fake everything because none of my friends know or anyone other than my immediate family. I’ve developed anxiety and have been in therapy for it, probably because of the hoarding. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to move out or get a job because of this

Maybe you could talk to your dad about suggesting she get some therapy? You could also bring it up with your own therapist.
