So I've received an offer from the University of Kent, for law, they want AAB, I've also received an offer from the University of Surrey, they want ABB.

I'm resitting my exams in my own time and already have one B grade, I've been predicted an A and a B in the two subjects I am resitting.

Is it a smart idea to put Kent as my firm and Surrey as my insurance? I mean, There is only one grade difference.

Would it be a better idea to go for my other offers, like Essex, who want BBB, or City, which I received an unconditional from?

    Thanks

A grade difference is better than having no difference at all, would you be comfortable ending up in clearing if you don't get into surrey or are you more comfortable with the thought of going to essex instead?

As above - yes that's fine, but you need to start thinking about 'what would I do in August if I missed grades for both?'.
