I was just wondering what were my odds of getting into Cambridge or LSE for law

    My stats are:
    7A*s 4As
    42+/45 in IB
    HL Maths, Econs, Business Management
    SL Physics, Spanish, English

    Thanks!

As good a chance as other people. It will depend on any interview and entrance exam plus your PS, reference and extra currics. They are both highly competitive, so make sure your app is strong in all areas. It is that tight. Grades alone dont tell the whole story.

    Cambridge about 24% offer rate.
    LSE about the same.

ah i see, thanks! I also heard that applicants to LSE who take business are disadvantaged, does anyone have any idea about this? I know that this is the case for economics applicants, but I wasn't sure if it was the same for law.

LSE provide helpful and detailed entry guidance. Please read it. they have a list of preferred and no preferred subjects. I think business is on the preferred list, but please check. As long as you have 2out of 3 on the preferred list then they think that is ok.

Rather than hearing from unreliable sources, its better you check and verify yourself. That way you know what the criteria is from LSE directly.
