So basically my friend got unimpressive grades in her IGCSE, ones she was not expecting, and has been super demotivated since then. She worked as hard as she could, turning her nights and days in one. And I do know where she screwed up but it's not that big and can be fixed. She understands everything about her course, every single thing in class but doesn't work hard like she is supposed to, that includes studying at home, solving past papers, revising work and etc. Her AS Level exams are in 3 months and idk what to do, please help.

That's her business not yours, I don't see why that's stopping you from getting on with your work.

I have talked to her about it but she just says that there's no point in trying hard again because she thinks she will fail again. What do I do, I'm freaking out ..

We're *pretty* close friends and we've had these dreams of going to our dream colleges together and when I see them not being fulfilled, I just stop working as well. There's more to it so I can't give up on her or even motivate myself to study.

She has to motivate herself. When it hits her that she needs to study that's when she will do it. Pressuring her will only make things worse.
