So my best friend of so many years (since we have moved to the academy) made new friends who are lovely to me but I have my own friend group which I’ve recently left so I could be with my best friends group . They treat me like I’m not in the group and I’m not invited to any of their sleepovers and if I say anything I know they will get annoyed at me for “overreacting”

Why did you leave your friendship group?

Ugh this reminds me of my whole secondary school life… in 6 form I didn’t even bother joining a group, still had friends but I wasn’t like tight in any group I just hovered between them all

Tell your best friend how you feel and see what they think you should do. Is it too late to join your old group again?

Do you still talk to any of your sixth form friends?

Kind of... I’m retaking year 13 so I still see some of them often (they’re also retaking) but apart from them there’s only like 3 people I’m in regular contact with otherwise it’s just things here and there like we all met up at Christmas and a few of them invited me to stay at their uni. There is one person from school I talk to a lot but we only started talking after the end of year 13 so that doesn’t really count as a sixth form friend I guess.
