I'm thinking of living in Emily Bowes Halls, and going to maybe UAL or Birkbeck. If I go to Birkbeck, then I'd hope to meet most of my friends at Emily Bowes because the uni has mostly mature students (I'm 20).

Is it easy to make friends with people from other unis at Emily Bowes Halls (or North Lodge/Station Court)? What is the social life like there?

Hi! I’m starting Birkbeck and staying at Emily Bowes this year I’m 22! As it’s my first year too I can’t answer your question but there’s a few social places at Emily Bowes as well as your flatmates, so I’m sure it’ll be okay 😊
