    Because normally medicine-rejects come here.

What jobs can you get with it? Why do people choose this as a backup?

Its not BTEC medicine its to prepare students for a career in biological research. Most do it because they want to do graduate entry medicine after finishing up biomed. If I was still an 6th form student and got rejected from medicine I would take a gap year and apply again.

For your information, I know someone in my old 6th form college who got into medicine with a BTEC in Applied Science.

Lol. It's certainly not BTEC Medicine. Oxford offers a Biomed course and you wouldn't dare call those students BTEC Medics...

Okay. Some students have Biomed as their 5th offer and go on to do GEM, but it certainly isn't "BTEC".
