Semi Law student seeking GDL

Hi

am wondering if someone can help me....
Im currently in my 2nd year of Social Welfare Law degree
It is law based but not full law

Im thinking ahead to when I graduate
Im wanting to study GDL and my tutor advised that I could look at Training contracts to fund my studies...

Looking at TC for 2020
What experience do I need?
I have had a placement at CAB since 2016 and I work along side tribunal case submissions at my current placement where ive been for the past 12 months.
I started my degree after completing a step up course and have basic GCSE results.

and which TC's are the best to look into??

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks guys

My degree isnt a qualfying law degree.
I finish my degree in 2019 so was wondering whether I should start doing some vacation work in prep?

I dont understand the difference between SQE and GDL if you could advise??

Ideally Id like to go into conveyancing or family law specialising in divorce or seperation...and I live in the west midlands but looking maybe for a contract of vacation in Manchester.
