I’ve recently applied for Manchester school of art for graphic design and have been invited for an interview, I was reading that it was a group interview! I’m just not too sure what to expect or what the process will be? Has anyone been through this interview process, if so it’ll be a great help to know what to expect!

    Thank you

But if you haven’t had it yet. We leave our portfolios and sketchbooks with some of the tutors whilst as a group we look around the facilities and are told about the course and once that’s over we’ll wait in a room and names will be called out one by one for the interview, however there’s this whole presentation we have to do so idk where that will fit in

I’ve had it and I received a unconditional! There’s nothing to worry about! You just put your portfolios on the table and then you do a workshop with everyone doing a collage and it’s super relaxed! And then you go in a group of 3-4 people and present your work in front of the tutor! They are so lovely and friendly! If they ask who would like to go first! GO FIRST! Get it out the way because otherwise you’ll think about it more and people will more than likely have already asked the questions you wanted to ask

I have an art Instagram if you would like to see some of the pieces I included it is: meganmorrishart And what really how did that one go? Honestly they just want you to talk passionately about your work, they aren’t going to know what your throught process and why you did it was.. Only you will be able to explain it, so nothing you say is going to be wrong

Also did many people have digital portfolios? Like laptops. I used my laptop for my other interviews but my tutor insists I made a physical one
