Hi I’ve started a open university course and it’s week two and I’m thinking about dropping out as my business has got too busy and my health isn’t great. Will I have to repay anything immediately as I have got student finance for the course? Thank you

I am sure it is 14 days before you owe anything to SFE.

Phillip is correct. It is 14 days. Normally thats 14 days of actual registration.

of the date of the email or letter confirming The Open University’s acceptance of your application to register or enrol.

    The cancellation procedure is below.
If they accept it then you will avoid any liability and they will refund the money to SFE, on which case you will owe nothing and your funding will remain intact for the future.

    Contact them first thing tomorrow.
