UniMatch gives out over 50,000 results for courses that will accept you with high grades in that subject combination! Put simply, yes it is a good combination that leaves a lot of doors still open to you. Perhaps you would like to use the UCAS Course Search to have a browse of your options?

My personal opinion is that this is a nice mix of challenging, respected subjects. Chemistry is considered one of the more difficult A levels but as it is marked a lot more objectively than essay subjects, past papers can make light work of it . By contrast Eng. Lit will help you to develop your analytical and essay writing skills, which will help for the long answer questions in the sciences as well as further ahead when you are writing projects at university.
