Getting involved in research as a foundation doctor
I'm a final year med student, starting the academic foundation programme this August. I'm really interested in research and hope to become as involved in projects as I can throughout my foundation years, not just the academic block (especially as my academic block is a long while away!). I was just wondering if anyone has experience of doing this and if you've got any advice on the best way to go about it e.g. should I approach consultants from a specialty I might want to go into and ask if they have any projects I can get involved with or would it be better to ask consultants on the rotations I have?
