15 years female, on Yasmin and been quite down at the moment, so I guess weightloss could make sense, however this is drastic. I’ve dropped from around high 8 stone to 9 stone to about 7 stone 8 in probably 3-4 weeks. I don’t see any difference in my appearance but when trying on prom dresses next to my very skinny (very very gorgeous regardless just a different build to me) friend, my mum mentioned how I looked the same size as her which has never been the case all 12 years I’ve known her, simply because we have very different body types. I’ve never been particularly unhappy with my body and am not trying to lose weight although I have been eating healthier just for my own benefit. I don’t want to end up losing weight at certain places where I want it, (think you get what I’m saying lmao) but I literally just don’t understand why I have lost weight so drastically. Having not been this weight since year 6/7 and now being in year 11, this is confusing to me. Thankyou sorry for the essay x

Maybe because you’re feeling down you’ve lost your appetite without really realising?? But there are a lot of reasons that a 15 year old would fluctuate in weight, you should see a doctor if you’re worried / keep losing weight because they’ll know how to help and make sure it’s nothing serious x

I think I will go and see my gp if it carries on just because I don’t want to suffer with fatigue and other symptoms going into exams and stuff, thankyou x
