I always support people using their right to strike if it is justified. The NUS does and I'm not aware of any Student Unions who oppose it.

Those who are worried about the lost lectures and tutorials - join your tutors in the picket lines, you scabs, if you have too much free time.
The welfare of your tutors affects the quality of education. Grow up.
Lol, all of you saying they shouldn't when they're losing half their pension.
I think they're well inclined to, considering the fact they educate doctors, lawyers and engineers and everything subject you consider valuable. Do as many hours and get paid peanuts in comparison
Plus it's not contractual, union rights exist.
And this wasn't something they foresaw when they signed up to the job
