nothing i seem to study sticks in my brain. cue cards take me a while to make and simply just reading a study guide never works; plus I never have the motivation to study, despite the looming expectations that is my GCSE's. any different methods for studying?

People find different studying methods good, whereas for others the methods are terrible . From what you’ve written, maybe cue cards aren’t your thing. To find the revision method that’s right for you, it’s simply a case of trial and error. I know this might not help you that much but it’s all the advice I can personally give.

Personally, if you're not one for making physical revision aids, record your notes and keep them on your phone. I find it useful to use all the "dead" time in your day (on the bus, in a queue etc.) to at least do something more useful than nothing, if that makes sense?
