So at GCSE I got: A*A*AAABBBCCC but I was predicted to get higher and I got a C in psychology which is the subject I love most.

Receiving my results last summer made me feel really disappointed.. even more so because I didn't put in so much effort.

I started sixth form pessimistic, but I'm starting to think that I should try harder to aim for A*A*A* in my A-Levels.

    Is it worth it?

of course. why would it not. aim for the top so if dont reach it at least get AAA

Everyone on this forum seems to get straight A*s or A's.. I was always expected to do better than I did.
