In the past, dealing with residency evidence has been an absolute nightmare and student finance still has not sent all my evidence back although I have been in contact many times and told they will be delivered soon (almost a year now). While I was at home, I was able to send evidence back and forth quite easily but since I’m in halls, I cannot access potential evidence they might need from my mother.
My question is - if I already proved last year that I have been in the country for 5 years (I’m a EU national but was given a loan same as UK students) will I have to prove that all over again or just the months since September 2017 that I’ve spent in uni?

    Hi Maggie,

If your are continuing on the same course as last year and your 5 years residency evidence was satisfied, we would not require you to provide residency evidence again for your 2nd year.
You would only have to reapply for your finance for 2nd year in 2018/19 as you have to reapply each year .

    Thanks

    Louise
