Help! Id like to know if it’s possible for me to get a 2.1 in my third year of uni watch talk to the uni Official Rep

1. Hey, I’m wondering what I would need to achieve a 2.1 or a first year in my third year of uni

My grades for second year are;
70, 58, 64, 61, 63, 60

I realise that the lowest grade from both my second year and third year gets dropped I’m just afraid I won’t be able to achieve the grade I want

What is the weighting between second and third year results?

You have an average of 63.6.

Assuming equal weighting, then you would need an average of 56.4 for a 2:1 and 76.4 for a First overall.

2:1 tends to eb an average of 60+ and First 70+.

You need to check the weightings of results. At my uni second year counts 1/4 towards my final grade and third year counts 3/4 with the lowest module in each year excluded.

It’s 1/4 I’m second year and 3/4 in my third year, but I’ve already got two grades back for third year and sadly there a 2.2

Thank you, It’s 25% in second year and 75% in my third year!
