I recently got my overall degree C score of 58 from a Russell Group uni which gets classified as a 2:1 because 90 credits in my final year were 2:1. Do Russell Group (or unis in general) accept applicants for masters programmes with a very low 2:1 like that? My grades were let down by the first half of my programme, and i know unis generally like an upward trend in grades.
    TIA

Most likely, yes. This will depend on where you're applying and what you're applying for.

For most courses outside of Oxbridge (maybe LSE and ICL), they are not that difficult to get on even with a low 2:1. Don't worry yourself.

I would say yes but depends on what uni you are applying for. A 2:1 is such a good grade, i havnt seen an MA entry requirment that doesnt say 2:1 or above and if i was you i would just apply anyway. Entry requirments are more of a guidline
